Hi all. I am looking for my Uncle, Peter Smith. Birthdate 1928, that's all I have for the birthdate. He has a sister Maureen Smith and Mother was Marion Forbes Goldie and Father Ernest.
I am unable to find him from Maureen as they are not talking.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In which country?

If, as it sounds, it's Scotland, you'll need to purchase credits on Scotlands People to find accurate birth info for him

Have you tried 'search trees'?

There is an Ancestry tree with this family on - they have a spouse for him but names hidden as presumably still living.
