Hi,
I am looking for relatives of Robert D Scott who was born in Bradford in June 1933. His parents were Louie and Herbert Scott.

Looking at the marriage for the parents then his birth does not have a middle initial in 1933 North Bierley

You're right that there was no 'D' in his name initially, apparently he added it later. He IS the one born in North Bierley, which is part of Bradford and would be plain Robert Scott. His mother's maiden name was Wilkinson.

Have you looked for his siblings' names by using free bmd?

Have you looked to see if anyone else on here has him in their tree?

Thanks for this - that's definitely his father.

I do know a fair bit about him and his ancestors, and I have sight of his death certificate. I have also looked for him on other family trees but am drawing a blank which is why I am here. He had a sister called Elizabeth(Betty) too. I have had no trouble going 'backwards' for several generations, it's the living relatives I am looking for now...

Yes.

He was my father.

My parents divorced when I was very small and my mother remarried. I have no wish to upset anyone I just want to know a bit more about him from people who knew him. It has taken me a long time to reach this point - I am actually finding this quite unnerving but feel it is time...
