Details of children (siblings) below:- John b n1873 George b 1874 Clara b 1877 Ernest b 1879 Edith b 1881 Albert b 1883 Katie b 1885 Charles b 1889 Henry b 1891 Possibly born Shardlow Annie b 1893 Possibly born shardlow Harold b 1896 (y grandfather) born Shardlow Derby Any one who is a direct descendent or otherwise linked by marriage or whatever, I would appreciate contact. 	Look in search trees for links on GR. If you find any, send contact messages to the tree owners via GR Otherwise, try researching them - starting with freebmd for possible marriages/deaths etc

	Who was born in Barrow on Soar? And if Harold was your grandfather - his parents were only your great-grandparents

	If you are researching a family from B-u-S this website may be useful, it has most of the parish records http://www.leicestershirevillages.com/barrowuponsoar/availablechurchandbu.html Their marriage was recorded in 1872 on that site

Member Since: January 2011 Posts: 9 Send Message	I would like to thank Reggie very much for the info he provided in a previous thread. This is greatly appreciated by myself, I can assure you. I will certainly add the information reggie provided and research further. I am finding it a bit difficult because of the number of siblings my grandfather had and the common surname of ward and the fact that siblings based in both leicestershire and derbyshire area. I have also discovered that part of the ward family (siblngs to Henry) emigrated to canada (Saskatchewan) in 1930's/1940's. It is trying to trace descendents that I am finding hard to trace. :-)
