Hello, thanks everybody for private messages and public ones alike. I do know about that old address in Sutton Coldfield, I didn't realise about their old business but that made me smile - typical family offshoots!

I think they must have emigrated, a few links suggest the United States :-)

They were on 192.com 2002. If you get nowhere otherwise, this would at least give an address to start you off.

They married in 1940 in Coventry District



Royston J Grute was registered late 1946

Meriden area

Warwickshire

( married a Rosemarie in 1971) in Birmingham area



Derek T Grute Apr-May-Jun 1948

Also Meriden Warwickshire

Leonard Died in 1994 Coventry District, aged 79

Hello, I'm looking for Royston and Derek Grute born to Edna Bailey who married Leonard Grute in Coventry or the wider Warwickshire area. Possible links to Meriden/Birmingham but please don't take that as gospel. I would not be sure if they are alive or dead but on the basis of age alone they would still be alive.

Hopefully this information does not exceed what should be published? Perhaps please PM me replies or questions where further details are needed.
