Try finding the ER of around the appropriate era. As a rule of thumb, women didn't get the vote until 1921, and then with some sort of qualification.

Since ER can only be searched by address, it ought to be possible to find the names of registered voters. There were no ER during WW1 & WW2, but there may be some sort of trade directory.

interestingly that Bessie Jane , neice to Edward Harris Rossiter, is listed as ''attend to bar'' in 1911.

BESSINA ROSSITER: Second child of MARK ROSSITER & ELIZABETH WISEMAN ~ (Generation 4viii). Bessina married into WOODALL family. We are still searching for information regarding The WOODALL family and confirmation of the marriage details.
