I understand from her ex-husband that she has not remarried and he is not aware if she reverted to her maiden name. I have contacted some S Ramsdens but they have not been the Susan I am looking for. Many thanks for everyone's help and advice

If you aren't in contact with the children, how did you manage to obtain their permission to include them in your GR tree?

She could also have remarried, though nothing showing up to 2005 in area specified on ancestry..
Have you tried 192.com - 2 S Ramsden (not S A) in Sheffield, no S Howell.

I am not related to Susan but my partner may be. It is a very sensitive issue and I am trying to avoid contacting Susan's son and daughter at this time and need to contact Susan direct in the first instance. Thank you for your help any other ideas or contacts would be very gratefully received.
I am quite new to all this and am trying to resolve issues without causing any upset or embarrassing anyone

Her son Martyn appears to be on 192.com, (and you appear to have him in your tree)
Martyn Howells also appears to have her in his tree. Have you contacted him?

I am searching for a Susan Ann Howells she was married to a John Howells but now divorced so may have gone back to her maiden name Ramsden. She was born in Rotherham (Rother Valley) c 1949 has a son called Martyn and a daughter named Shelley. In her early years she worked in banking I believe she may still live in Sheffield any indications to her where abouts would be very gratefully received
