Hi all i am searching for my uncle and his family.his name at birth was Roland francis Bowman he was born in musselburgh1942.In 1959 he went to australia with the auspices big brother movement.He married linda knight whilst out in australia they had four children steven,mark,karen and tracy. in 1979 they returned to the uk where they lived in blackburn in lancashire for a short time from then there has been no known whereabouts would love to be in contact many thanks in anticipation sue

Might be worth looking to see if any of the family are on Facebook. Alternatively check out sites such as www.192.com or even the telephone directory.

Researching:
Don't put off until tomorrow doing what you can do today. If you like doing it today you can do it again tomorrow. Be kind to your children for it is they who will decide which care home you end up in.

It looks like one of the daughters has a tree on here have you tried to contact her? it is a fairly recent membership number also


Go to the search trees top of the screen (dark green bar) put in Roland Bowman 1942 and send messages by clicking on the purple find out more next to the tree owners name

many thanks have searched 192 and electoral roll have even done cemetery searches all to no avail :-|

Have you searched the trees also and sent messages to the two people who have Roland in their tree?

many thanx for your help, one of the tree owners is my mum,the other im unsure of but have now sent a message hadn't noticed that one before thanx sue :-D
