Catherine/Alan,

Contact the library local to 17 Hawthorn St. for 1957 electoral rolls to see who else lived there. If you are lucky, you might discover her parents' names.

Hi,

I am searching for a Maureen Robinson that used to live at 17 Hawthorn Street, Newcastle (No longer exists). The birth mother of my father.

My father was born Raymond Robinson on 29th October 1957 at Dilston Maternity Home, Corbridge, Newcastle Upon Tyne. He was adopted in the latter part of 1958 by Violet and Roman Zacharko, and then became known as Raymond Zacharko.

I remember when I was a child my Mum and Dad trying to track down any information they could about his past and after reaching a point they felt that their search was at a loss. Now I have children of my own, I understand the importance of what finding Maureen would mean.

I have continued where my parents left off and have come up with the following potential married names (based on the period 1957-1977):

Maureen WHITE (married to Alan WHITE)
Maureen WHITE (married to Terence DOBSON)
Maureen ALLAN (married to Joseph ALLAN)
Maureen EAGLESON (married to John EAGLESON)
Maureen BROWN (married to Albert BROWN)
