Rosie Report 19 May 2012 18:46

Definately a registration district of Redbridge, Southampton

jax

jax Report 19 May 2012 18:41

Those births more than likely belong to a couple who married in 1973

Unless you know there is a registration district called Redbridge near Southampton

Yes, there are 2 Redbridge's - the one in Essex and another 3 miles west of Southhampton which is more likely to be the right one.
Looked on 192 but cant be sure - its too much of a guessing game . Our David doesn't have a middle name.

Hi - We are looking for David Lee and his wife Margaret Ann Pearl (Nee Parkins ) from 1971 up to present and any other info which are having trouble finding on them.

We have David's birth certificate - he has a twin Daphne - they were born on 3rd May 1941 and were the youngest of my great aunts 4 children. Daphne has no information on her brother - they were brought up in Alton Childrens Home in Wiltshire.

We have just obtained a marriage certificate for a David Lee and a Margaret Ann Pearl Parkins in june 1971 in Winchester and we are pretty sure that this is our David.. His age is right and where it says fathers name and occupation there is just a line through the space so this would tie in with him. Strangely, the same applies to Margaret so we are wondering whether they were both in the childrens home.

The address on the marriage certificate is - 3 Northlands House, Northlands Drive, Winchester. David is a shoe mender and Margaret is a Petrol Pump Attendant

Davids oldest sister is desperate to find her brother as her other brother passed away a few years ago and Daphne doesn't know anything.

Please can someone with access to electoral registers help us to find David. We are thinking he could be in Winchester, Southampton - there is a birth for a child in Redbridge, Southampton which matches date and mothers maiden name - or even Portsmouth

We cant find a birth for Margaret Ann Pearl Parkins anywhere so if anyone can help with that as well it would be great. - she was a spinster at time of marriage

Thanks alot - would be so grateful for some help

Kind regards

Rosie
