We may consider that as a final straw... but at present we would like to try and find her in a private/ personal manner... just in case she never wants to know us. Thank you kindly for your advice.

If you don't have any luck, might you consider contacting the makers of Long Lost Families on ITV?

Hi

My mum's details are already added to the contact register as I'm searching on her behalf and I have contacted all the Alison Watson's on this site so far and awaiting replies :o)

So fingers crossed we might be able to find her here....

I am searching for my adopted half sister Alison Jane Watson born 28/04/1966 at Queen Charlotte Hospital Hammersmith London to our mother Kathleen Ann Watson. She was sent by her parents to a Mother and Baby Home in Putney Heath Lane, SW15 in London and after giving birth to her daughter Alison - she was forced into giving her baby up for adoption, which she has regretted all of her life. We know your adoption finally took place at East Court in East Grinstead on 20th October 1966 but we don't know what your name was changed to. Mum has never stopped thinking of you nor stopped wanting to find you since the day you turned 18 years old and as I write this - we are still looking for you as you are the missing link in our family chain. It would be great if you would make contact or if anyone knows of Alison to make contact as our mother's heart remains broken until the day she might get an opportunity to hold her baby daughter in her arms again or we find out the information needed to put her mind at rest, as the past 46 years of separation have been the hardest for her to bear even though she has since had another family - you have 3 half sisters and 5 nephews. Looking forward in anticipation... your loving half sister Kerrie x
