Have you considered putting a short letter in the local paper?
I know that ..The News..in Portsmouth has a free column, when space permits called ' Where Are They Now?'

As the family still has links in the area, maybe Karen or one of her friends will see it and get in touch.

Hi All,

I would like to get in touch with my cousin who i have not seen or spoken to for 36 years.

She was born Karen Ford in Wickham, Hampshire in about 1954 and was the daughter of Lionel Ford and Eileen Woodcock.
After her parents sadly divorced she took the name of her step father and became Karen Cunliffe. I believe her mother still lives in the Gosport area of Hampshire.

The last time that I remember seeing Karen was in 1976 when i was seven years old. At that time The Ford family got together for a family reunion and were featured in a Portsmouth Evening News article concerning the event.


If anyone has any information that can help me trace Karen then please drop me a line.
