Once again I have clicked in the wrong place and my reply has not been posted. Apologies.
I am on the register. Leila is a family member.
I found out about these children from looking at my files and speaking to the adoption team at Islington. They would not give me any details though apart from Andrew born in 1961 in Croydon. I recall holding him when I was 6years old, she brought him to visit me in the orphanage I was in, before she put him up for adoption also. I think I know his adoptive family surname - it was on a piece of paper in Kate's personal bits after she died which were forwarded to me by her sister. Thanks all for your help and interest, lisa

Hi Rose. No I don't. Possibly Wales for the first as she would have been 14 or 15 we think so not well travelled. Then she appears to have lived right throughout the country including Scotland, Leicester,Liverpool. I know I am clutching at straws here but maybe one of them will search through her maiden name.

If you put the name Kathleen Long born 1933 in Pontypridd into the "search trees" option in the dark green bar at the top of the screen you will find someone called Leila has this person in her tree. You can then click on her name and send a message to her direct.

I am looking for siblings. Our birth mother is K Long. There are 4 of us born between 1947 and 1961 all given up for adoption. If you have found your birth mothers name Is Kate Long 1933 born then you have siblings including myself and i would be over the moon to find real blood family.
