I'm trying to find my Aunt, Florence Jean Primrose [b 1925 in Perth, Scotland].
I last saw her about 1958 and there is a possibility that she changed her name by deed-poll around 1960 and emigrated to Canada.
Any information of whatever nature would be very welcome.

The only chance is if someone has her in a GR tree.

Look in search trees

I'm afraid not Kay.
Florence was my mother's youngest sister and one of 5 siblings. The other four have all now died and their children are also unaware of her whereabouts.
Believe me I have tried all possible routes and this post is really a last resort.

would she have kept intouch with any school friends work colleagues?,,,,,was there any paticular reasons for a name change?

did she travel alone to as you suspect to Canada?

The family all spread out and Florence left Perth to move South at quite an early age.
Family lore has it (rightly or wrongly) that she changed her name by deed-poll around 1960 and emigrated to Canada with her then partner whose name is not known.
