Something doesn't seem to be adding up to me. Born in the USA in 1890, living in the UK with an aunt in 1901, Married in Rochdale in 1904, All possible of course but I just wonder plus the only John Schofield marriage recorded in Rochdale in 1904 appears to be this one without an Evelyn Shepherd showing:

I am trying to find any living relatives who might be related to my Grandfather John Schofield. b:1890 in USA. (I don't know where in the USA he was born as I do not have a birth certificate).No sign of him in the 1891 Census so I assume he was still in the USA. He lived with his Aunt Alice Austin (nee Schofield) in the 1901 Census He married Evelyn Shepherd in 1904 in Rochdale Lancashire and had 8 children His father was Thomas Schofield who was a Grocer.
