As you can find his birth record, if you get the cert and find out his birth date, if he died after 1969 it might be possible to find his death based on that.

His mother is Hannah Nickisson
Correct, wiliams mother is down as McKisson for some reason?

Was Michael definitely born in 1939, and were the marriage and births in Staffordshire?

Free bmd shows 2 marriages for William Davies to Margaret in Staffordshire from 1933 to 1939.
Neither of these marriages cross-check with a birth for Michael in 1939.
There are 5 births for Michael in Staffordshire on free bmd.

You can look for these yourself.
Possibly free bmd is misssing some, and ancestry is needed?

Hi Jan and thank you. I believe his wife was margaret and he was born in 1917. Not much to go on and thats why i can't help myself,,, need wiser, more experienced folk to help me :-S

Also - if you can pin down his birth, and find his exact birth date, it might be possible to find a death for him.

Hi,
William was my great Uncle. I'm trying to find his family.
His Father was also william b1880. He had a brother, Charles b1914.
William moved to Birmingham after the war. He had a Son called Michael 1939 and a daughter Margeret 1942?
I have very little knowledge of my larger family and would welcome any info at all. Thank you
