Thank you Jan - Yes, the info you found is coorect. I just don't know where to go next to find Gillian. Dorothy & Eric were her parents but she probably married and likely has a different surname now.
I'm fairly new to all this searching so just don't know where to try next.

If I am right, this might be relevant. Seems like I'm off at a bit of a tangent, but with such a common name as Gillian Roberts you have to think laterally!

There is only one birth which fits Lynski - assuming info is correct obviously!. Looks like she was an only child unfortunately.
I think her mother was Dorothy E. Purnell. Have you checked for matches by using 'search trees'- there is one person with Dorothy in their tree.

Hello,
Does anyone know a Gillian Roberts. She may have married and have a different surname. She would be in her seventies now. She was born to Dorothy & Eric Roberts in 1935 in Cheltenham. She possibly lives in the South of England now, not too sure where. Any information would be helpful please. Many thanks, Rosemary
