Hello Jan,

Yes, she was adopted. Myself and the rest of the family were born in Northern Ireland, so I'm not familiar with any services or departments in Dublin.

When I search for records from Dublin I don't seem to find any. Does Genes Reunited cover Northern and Southern Ireland?

Was she adopted Selina? If so, have you tried asking social services dept. for help?

Linda Wilson - Born in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin 1971
Mother's maiden name - Wilson

Linda was born in a home for young women who became pregnant out of wedlock.

Mum was born in 1950 in Kilkeel in Northern Ireland. Now living in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, with the surname Sargent.

I would appreciate any help as I am finding it quite difficult to navigate and use this site.
