Looking for Birch in and around the Bolton area. Also looking for Starr's in the Bolton and Liverpool area. The Starr's I am looking for have a big family, My nan was one of 16 children including Mary, Lou, Kenneth, Jimmy and many more...
Kaye and sister Starr, daughter of Kenneth, would be my 2nd cousin. :-)

Have you tried Search Trees on this site?

If you find a possible match you can contact the tree owner to see if you have a connection.

The best thing to do is to use the 'search trees' box (in the dark green bar above). Put in all the names you have, and if you find any matches you can contact the tree owner.

I've checked out some of the tree's, yes, thanks Lynski and Jan.

I did come up with Martha in the census jax, but none of the other names seem to tally..

I'm off till tomorrow, have letter and tree's running around my head.
:)
Thanks for your help!

The Starr's were born in Liverpool, some stayed, some moved to Wales and some moved to Bolton. These would be my Grandmother and Great Aunts/Uncle's. Their mothers maiden name is Kelly, maybe Ireland?
Of those that moved to Wales were Mary and Lou((ise) sorry only ever heard her called Lou). Mary lived and died in Conway and Lou lived and died in Llandudno. Elizabeth moved to Bolton, married Peter Birch from Bolton.
I can't ever remember that Lou and Mary were married. Elizabeth was born in 1923, Lou older and Mary younger.
Elizabeth and Co were mostly born in West Derby, Kirkdale does sound about right. Elizabeth was definitely one of 16 children, with 2/3 sets of twins. Of those I'm not entirely sure how many survived. There could be a Sidney in their too.... :-S

I think my Lou is Louisa Starr born in West Derby in 1910, no mothers maiden name given unfortunately..

Julie,

You need to purchase Elizabeth's marriage and then birth certificate to confirm things.
