Looking for Hilary Ernest Mitchell dob 22.06.1931, born Islington,London,N.1. sometimes known as Mickey Mitchell.
Mother and father accounted for. His sister Gloria (age 82) is still alive but has no knowledge of him after 1950, he was known to have worked at the Ivy restaurant in London at that time. To date I have found no trace of him in spite of numerous searches on all genealogy websites eg Ancestry,Genes etc. Is there a chance, however small, that somebody will have any further information on him? He is the one missing link in family tree and his sister would dearly love to have any information.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a possible marriage in Cornwall in 1977 to a Florence - have you investigated this?

Good luck, Liz

He would have done NATIONAL SERVICE unless he was in a reserved occupation.

You could write to the pensions dept & ask if he is receiving a pension & if they would kindly forward a letter .
