Who registered his death?

How much research have you done?

Any reason to assume that there are/were any descendants?

Have you looked for possible births of offspring using Scotlands people?

Have you looked on here in 'search all trees'?

I have found information about a number of descendants. I have traced a few, but many others exist but cannot be traced.

John,

Could you say whether you know of all the children from both marriages and possibly give some information about them.

Or who you have contacted and who you believe you are still trying to find.

You say 'many others exist but cannot be traced' - do you mean possible grandchildren/greatgrandchildren and how do you know of their possible existence?

What further information have you got from the contacts that you have made?

Thanks
