If she was adopted then she would have a different surname than Cole

If you did'nt know her maybe a good idea to mention these things before hand along with the fact she had been adopted

I did miss the December response-sorry.

I have some details about Olwen but not knowing if she married, I'm stuck trying to find her alive (if she is).I do remember a couple of siblings were Donald and Ivor or Ivan.

Olwen's birth certificate had 'Adopted' stamped on it so I suspect that Jessie and Wilson gave her up for adoption shortly after birth.

There seem to be 8 Cole/Ewing births in Birmingham, I assume these are her siblings? Do you know if she ever married?

My cousin was the daughter of Jessie Lockhart Ewing and Wilson Fidoe Cole and was born in Birmingham,England and may still be there.She would be in her 70's I think.
