Thanks Lynski & Rootgatherer
Yes I have searched the other trees & previously been in touch with all the hot matches there. None of these are related in the BANKS branch of the tree, so really hopeful that a living relative will make contact so I can fill in the blanks up to the present.
Thanks
Bruce

Two people other than yourself have his son Charles in their trees. Are you in contact with them please?

Have you tried Search Trees on this site?

If you find a possible match you can contact the tree owner to see if you have a connection.

I am looking for any descendants of my ggfather Robert Mcmurtie Banks. He married twice, firstly to Jeannie Florence Martin, and later to Margaret Neilson. (aka McKerrell) there were a number of children from both marriages. I have traced as far as I can from online records and would be very keen to hear from any living descendants anywhere in the world.
Please...if you know anyone that might have been related to Robert McMurtrie Banks please bring this post to their attention.
Most relatives would be in Scotland but there is also a vague link to Canada.
Any information will be much appreciated.
