Do the changes in the law have yo contacted the agency that arranged the adoption to see if they would assist you with this search ?
Also check to see if there is an entry on her for her or you with your name at the time of the birth,

I am looking for my daughter birth name Susan Marion Bisson born in Dartford Kent on 10th October 1958 I do not know her adopted name but adoption was through Margate County Court March 1959 any information would be most welcome
