Looking For My Son

Betty Ann Report 23 Feb 2012 16:02

I am looking for Paul John Biggin Born 5th April1964 in Mayday Hospital, Croydon Surrey. He was adopted at birth by a family who lived in Kingston Upon Thames, their surname I do not know. I am his birth mother and am still married to his birth father. We have four other children who would of course be Paul's birth siblings. If anyone has any information I would be more than grateful.

Many Thanks Betty Ann Mottram

Have you added your name to the adoption contact register in case your son decides to look for you?

Have you tried facebook/freindreunited providing he is going by his birth name

Have you tried the local newspapper for that area

Good Luck ;-)

Braken

If he was adopted, he would not be going by his birth name on those two sites....No one would know who he was

He could be using his Birth name in the hope that his Birth Family may be looking for him...

There are no Paul Biggin's on FB and I cannot see where you would put your birth (unknown to anyone) name on FR as it is mainly school related

If anywhere he could have a tree here if he wished

I wish you luck Betty Ann My son was adopted at 6 weeks He found me through GR but after the intialm contact it went quiet He will be 40 tomorrow
I think about him everyday but it's even harder now than when I first ahd to give him up and didn't know where he was.
I really hope you find your son and he wants you as much as you want him

My thoughts are with you today Lesley I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for you over the years

Which is why I tell everyone about facebook and freindreunited as you must clutch at straws in the hopes of finding your child

Good Luck Betty I hope you find your son ;-)

The only place where an adopted person would be likely to use his/her birth name is this site.

Or, at a pinch, Ancestry

Get in touch with Norcap in Purley as your son was born in Mayday this would be the nearest place and he may already be on there " wanting contact list"

Betty

You need to put Paul in your tree on here a along with your name and his Fathers.
Do you remember which agency was used for the adoption ? given the changes in the law they may be prepared to assist you with your search.

Betty

If Paul, ever chooses to search & gets a copy of his original birth certificate, you are the only Betty A , so you will be very easy to find ..............GOOD LUCK

OR you could leave a contact letter in his adoption file
