My uncle, James Vincent Patterson, b 1934, d 1959, immigrated to New Zealand in 1958. Unfortunately for him, he was killed in a work accident just a year later. I have a letter from my grandmother (Fanny Kate Rogers) sent to my mum, Mary Kathleen Patterson, b 1928, d 2004 informing my mum of her brothers death in 1959. In the letter my grandmother refers to "Auntie" will arrange the funeral and send his personal belongings home. The "Auntie" would be one of my great-auntie's listed on previous message; this if it is on my grandmothers side. If cannot confirm if it was Hilda or Rhoda Rogers, will start searching my grandfathers side.
