If he registered the death, his address at the time will be on the cert

There is no likely death on Ancestry, which could mean that he was alive after 2005

FMP has 2006 deaths.........after that, nothing on line.

Sorry Reggie but I misread your question.
Some other info is that Alfred was alive at the death of his wife registered in January 1995.

To answer my own question......the 1972 marriage was at Nelson, Lancs.

For everyone's interest.

His only forename was Alfred.
His marriage on 13 May 1972 was to Jane Elizabeth Waddington (widow) nee Cosgrove.
His exact DOB was 18 Dec 1909 registered J/F/M 1910.
His mother was Margaret Miller (no father named, hence the name continuation) and his grandfather was also Alfred forn in West Derby, Liverpool.

Hope this helps.

Born 1909 in Burnley. Married twice in 1950's and 1970's. Know nothing more about him and cannot find a death certificate. Keen to know any more as I am his son and have not seen him since I was 18 months old.

Many thanks.
