Hi. Jonesey, Thank you for your reply. The people who are mentioned are my in laws, and they have all passed away. We are trying so hard to find Sylvia/Lesley. My husband and his sister have been looking for years to find her. We are registered with norcap. We have left messages on a lot of web sites.
We have relations in Canada who have also put a message out on TV/Radio.

Maybe one day we wil find her.

Thank you

Jonesey

As her birth was only registered under her mothers surname it can be assumed that no father was mentioned on her birth certificate.

If you are a birth relative you could contact Norcap who will advise you about possible contact options:

It might be advisable to delete this thread as those individuals mentioned in it may still be alive and not wish for their details to be displayed on an open forum such as this.

Iam looking for Sylvia Fahey/Astley born 3rd September, 1956. Mother Florence Fahey. Father may be omitted off birth certificate but could be named as William Astley.

Sylvia was born at home in Newton Le Willows. But was later adopted. Her adopted family may of took her to Canada and called her Lesley.

If anyone as any information please get in touch.

Thank you
