Have you looked in search trees?

You need the birth years and birthplaces to be able to search

Try Friendsreunited

From the limited info given, can we guess that these people were from the Liverpool area.........

Unfortunately you have fairly common surnames there, so care will be needed to follow up the correct person.

If you know an address for a set time when they were together, I would check electoral lists for that time, - usually available in a main library or archive local to the address. Joan's full name should be listed, so it will be help to identify the correct lady, who may have remarried.

I lived in Russell Road Penny Lane 1964 - 1969 with my dad and his wife then and 3 siblings my dads name was Thomas Henry Williams he married Joan i think her maiden name might have been Bennet about 1959. My dad died in 1968 and we all got seperated and I have no idea where they went maybe Speek area?? any info on this post would be great. I believe Joan might have been a Jehovah Whitness if this helps..
