This may be a long shot to try, but you could also try getting in touch with local papers in London - he may still be living there, or someone may know him

Ive messaged some possibles on here. The problem is that when ive looked up scottish births there are none for any variation of that surname in glasgow in those years.
ive been told he was from Glasgow but not necessarily born there. Also his last known address was London in 1961 with no idea where he may have gone to after that.
he will be around 70 now but i will still try facebook.
no info regarding parentage/siblings etc.
he lived in lodgings which had a high turnover of tenants so the electoral roll from 1961 doesnt help as there are no relatives or people living directly with him he hust rented a room.
ive posted a message on 'missing you'
lots of james ritchies on the electoral roll. will take an age to get through as no idea what area to look in.
same with deaths.
lots of them!
its looking costly.

Have you tried a search on this site, facebook or an address search on friends reunited, there may be a neighbour listed who knew him,

I am looking for a James Ritchie/Richie/Richy, approx dob 1938 -1942 who was apparantly born in Glasgow but lived in Camden Town in london in 1961.

I have the exact address for him at that time and can confirm by PM
No other details known.

Birth father search.
I can confirm Mothers name and info by PM.
