I knew nothing about my father - except his name, Ralph Ross - until I started trying to put together a family tree.

I have discovered two marriages - not to my mother - and some possible siblings in the Bournemouth area. I have found the death record as well. These may all be for the same Ralph Ross.

I cannot confirm a birth date and year. I only know that he was quite a lot older than my mother and so 1913 may be correct.

Old telephone directories show a possible match in Boscombe East ( same general area) in 1968 edition.
He is shown as Ralph, ..no middle name.. and is a builder.

Someone of the same name is in the same road in 1970s and 1981, ...a few doors along.

I think Russell was born in the late 1950's, so Ralph presumably was born any time from 1920 to 1940.
Lots of men with the name Ralph Ross are born in Scotland.
As Flick asks, have you any other information on him?

There is a possible marriage for him in Bournemouth in 1963 - is that after he had become estranged from your family?
There would appear to be 2 children from that marriage born in Bournemouth in 1966 and 1972.
Followed by possible marriages for the children still in Bournemouth in 1986 and 2001

However, Ross is a fairly common surname.

Without an idea of when he was born, it would be difficult
