We must have very many relatives up there we no nothing about, would welcome any information. We have no idea when dads mum and dad passed away or why. Dad would love to know which of his siblings is still here and where they all are. Here is hoping for a good outcome

This looks like his parent's marriage:-

Name: HALL, James H
Registration District: Hartlepool
County: Durham
Year of Registration: 1930
Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec
Spouse's last name: Mould
Volume No: 10A
Page No: 303

Name: MOULD, Beatrice M
Registration District: Hartlepool
County: Durham
Year of Registration: 1930
Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec
Spouse's last name: Hall
Volume No: 10A
Page No: 303

This is a possibility for his mother's death:-

Name: HALL, Beatrice Maud
Registration District: North Cleveland
County: Durham
Year of Registration: 1979
Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep
Date of Birth: 20 October 1908
Volume No: 3
Page No: 2412

and a possibility for his father's death:-

Name: HALL, James Henry
Registration District: North Cleveland
County: Durham
Year of Registration: 1979
Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun
Date of Birth: 21 July 1906
Volume No: 3
Page No: 2718

HOWEVER - the only birth I can find that matches your father's details is this one (but the mother's maiden name is different to what you give and the birthplace is Sunderland and not Hartlepool)):-

Name: HALL, Henry J
Registration District: Sunderland
County: Durham
Year of Registration: 1931
Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec
Mother's Maiden Name: Corner
Volume No: 10A
Page No: 979

EDIT - see Jonesey's post below for what seems to be the correct birth reference for your father.

???Might this be your fathers birth registration, I note that he married as James H Hall, not Henry J Hall.

Births Mar 1932
Hall James Mould Sedgefield 10a 275

There are a number of Hall/Mould births recorded in that corner of County Durham 1932~1952 including some of the names that you mention as possibly being your fathers siblings. Visit www.freebmd.org.uk to view for yourself (Its a free site).

Well done Jonesey. The Sedgefield birth registered in the March qtr. of 1932 is much more likely to be the one.

Hello Sally,

You can also try putting the names you are looking for into the Search Trees box above (in the dark green bar).

This will show you if anyone on this site has them in their tree.

If you find a connection, you can contact the tree owner.
