You might want to try for Arthur's death cert. seeing as he died after Edith.

I'm seeing some marriages for an Anthony O in the London area but no corresponding birth. Perhaps this is your Tony. No sign of him on the electoral register though.

Thanks for your help, wasnt expecting any response at all. arthur william b was my great uncle, im as certain as I can be that edith was a wilson, also I had considered that anthony may have been adopted as edith appears to have been an older mother, I was just trying one last thing before going down the road of obtaining certificates as it gets costly, but thankyou again for your help, its always useful incase you havent considered a particular route to try.

You could try ordering Arthur and Edith's death certs to see if he is an informant.

I see a marriage for Arthur W B Battle and Edith E Wilson in 1938.

I don't see any children for this couple. Are you sure Wilson was Eileen's maiden name? Perhaps he was born abroad or adopted?

Hello, I am looking for the above person, I have been unable to trace him on any of the ancestry sites, have tried them all plus variations, I know he existed, and should still be living. He was born around the mid to late 40,s to Arthur william battle of paddington, and edith eileen wilson, preston lancashire. He was my mothers cousin, Delphine wendy Miles (now deceased) would love to know if anyone has any information on him, We knew him as Tony, possibly he tooks his mothers name of wilson, I last saw him aged around 7, he would have been in his late teens then.
