have been looking for decendants of bertie and ethel of islington, london, and finally of latchingdon, essex. my mother, hazel was one of 3 of their children.
thanks to genes members, i know that their other daughter, ruby had 2 girls, coral and clare. it is believed that albert had no descendants.
hazel was the youngest, born 1927. she lost touch with her family, after leaving leighton buzzard [where she had been living with ruby's family] in late 40s/early 50s. before i was born in 1959.
my generation is the oldest surviving. i think that brooks may be ruby's married name, coral khamfri, a genes member, may be one, and another genes member, clare brooks, may be the other of the 2 girls. but although i pm them last summer, they have not opened the messages. i would love to hear from anyone who may know of any other descendants, or any way of contacting these 2.

my name is jackie, i have continued with mums membership.
no descendants will know of my existence, or possibly even hazel's.
i will be signing off soon, but will log on every evening [probably about 9pm]
thanks for looking.

You can see all the threads you have started by clicking on Community tab and then, on the left hand side (down a bit) you will see My threads.

Click on that and you will see all of them.

Also, remember that duplicate posts about the same families are not allowed because it means that members who help could be looking for the same information over and over.....
