	To find birth dates for the daughters you can use free bmd, specifying the surname and Mother's surname of Kendall and Smith in Leicestershire between 1940 and 1950. http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl You can also look for marriages there, but their records are not yet comprehensive for later years.
