Have you considered putting your name on the National Adoption Register? If Melanie is looking for her birth family she may well have registered on there.

Baby Edgar would have had a possible full or partial name change so wont be known by that.

can you add the person to your tree with hope it maybe searched for in time.?

does anyone know of a melanie edgar who was born in shrophire between 1963 and 1965 she was put up for adoption.
