Find Living Relatives

I am trying to find any descendants of my grandfathers siblings he was born William Herbert Smith in 1905 West Derby area of Liverpool and his siblings were all born in the same area parents Albert and Janet Smith(nee Meikle)

I only know that Leonard Married a Doreen Emsley and they had two children Lynda and Frank but cannot confirm dates of marriage due to being Smiths the rest of the family I have no information on. Have tried searching through genes but so many Smiths it is difficult to locate the correct one. Any help greatly appreciated

Doesn't matter that the name was Smith, you had both names, easy to find marriage:

2 Smith children with mother's maiden name Emsley born in Liverpool. Also 1 born Leeds. Possible?

Edit: I had posted the names then realised I shouldn't have done so as they're probably still living. Easy to find on FreeBMD using surname and mother's surname.

Thank you for all this, i have the marriage of the parents which is how I found the children's names, but can not go any further. Also have contacted all people with trees, and they have come back to me but all on the mothers side, and have no details about the children, so know further forward.

Sorry, Fiona, I understood that you couldn't find the marriage of Leonard & Doreen. I must learn to read more carefully.

Fiona, do you have any exact birthdates or middle names, for the males particularly? I ask because if all else fails it might be worth looking for their deaths. After 1969 the DOB (if known by the informant) is shown on the indexes. The middle name is often shown too. Death certs can be a good source of information (I speak from experience!).

I have tried this, but will try again, sometimes over a 1000 come up as I don't know the area that they died, my grandfather died in Sussex and lived in London all his life and the only other death I have found died in Cheshire. Many thanks for the tip will continue along this route.
