	For some idea of age, he was in the Kings Own Regiment in 1941 according to the London Gazette on a google search. Also, Annette has been looking for him on ancestry in 2008, and says his Mother was Nora (Gray) Hill. Added: Births Mar 1922 Hill William E C Gray Bradford 9b 253 Suggest you alter your title to include 'Australia' so that people with more specialised knowledge can help.
