I have George W Sapsford b.1912 Edmonton marrying Nellie M Smith in 1937 Hertford.
Also his brothers were

Arthur Charles Sapsford b.1915 married Daisy Lillian Cook 1948 Ware Hertfordshire
and

Ernest Francis Sapsford b.1915 married Daisy Bell

Can anyone help me find their children (if they had any please) hopefully I have the correct mariages as well

Ellen, have you tried looking for matches on here by using 'search trees' box?
I assume you found the marriages on Freebmd and have looked for births on there already?

Try searching on freebmd for births.

Select births with surname Sapsford and mmn in turn Smith, Cook and Bell.

With a year range 1937-1947, there are a number of Sapsford/Smith births, with about 4 in the right general area...........probably 2 different couples, but you never know.

Daisy Bell + Ernest F Sapsford marriage took place in 1940 in Ware, Herts.

There is a possible Sapsford/Bell birth

Thank you all for your help. I have looked for a marriage for George W Sapsford but there are so many I would have to get all the marriage certs to get the correct one.
I dont think Arthur and Daisy had any children as the only one I can find was born in 1929

If you wanted to get the MC, but are unsure if its the right one, you could order from GRO but don't tick the 'know reference number' box.

Then you give a year you want the search to start from, giving 01/01/1937 if necessary. Only put the fathers name that you are sure about. EG if he was George Walter Sapsford, but only recorded as George or George W, they won't issue it. They will search for a total of 3 years and issue the one, if found, that matches your criteria.

Alternatively, you could contact the local register office, although the GRO reference isn't any good to them. they would need the year and quarter.
