names of the above are real i have got my orignal birth certificate and a copy of there marige certificate.So any relation to the people and you want me to send any copy be free to contact me.

The thread on General chat advised Elaine to post here....which she did!!!

It was on this board for over a week

Unfortunatly someone reported it today and it was removed.

Now what is she meant to do? not ask for help? not mention any names?
It seems that GR makes its own rules up as it goes along

Whoever advised re-posting should also have advised deleting the original, to comply with site rules

Have you looked in 'search trees', Elaine?

Have you registered with the Scottish equivalent of the adoption contact register?

Have you contacted NORCAP?

BTW............it wasn't I who reported the other thread..........

.........although I do have reservations about so much info being on here about living people

I mentioned the trees in the other thread and her mother may be in a couple. I also asked Elaine to remove dates of birth, which she did.

As for the other thread it has disapeared down the pages a week ago so what does it matter now?

Elaine is a new poster to the boards, she does'nt need rules thrown at her. She was also advised to delete the other one as it happens

There must also have been a thread other than the on on General...........

I recognised the names instantly, and I never use the general board........

Elaine has obviously returned to her original thread, but hasn't acknowledged the replies, so we have no idea what action, if any, she has taken

Thats right it was on this board and I did reply but someone reported it yesterday and it was removed??

The only replies on the link you have given is to advise Elaine to post on this board

She more than likely removed her email ect over a week ago, and did return to her thread on here and has sent me a pm,,,but unfortunatly I cannot help but as I told her she may have some luck if she trys to contact the people who may have her mother in their trees
