pmd birth marriage and possible address of a David K in the right area

Just a thought - but are there any David Kevin - or David Brian - Kilby...births in Leicester or Bradford c1935 - 1942 ish ( it may be he is younger than I had believed )

I appreciate you all looking for me....

I believe that Lens son may live in Bradford, as my family tell me he often visited Bradford - and of course - he died there ( he himself always lived in Leicester).

It is possible that Len ( or his wife ) may have had another son also.
The possible names I have are Brian or Kevin......... this son would be younger than David.

I had thought of buying the death cert, but, I think if he had divorced or been a widow - this wouldnt show his wifes name and it may only show a hospital as the informant if he didnt die at his sons home......
so - I am trying to find alternative routes of finding his family info..............

any other ideas very welcome......

Well spotted - yep it was my mistake........

The Len Kilby that I am looking to find out more about was born Oct Qtr 1911.

( The other Len Kilby was born Apr Qtr 1911 and married a Joan Boyce - he is a 'red-herring' ).......

Is it just a mistake that you have named Leonard Kilby as Leonard Boyce bn April 1911 died 1936,?

There are 2 births registered 1911 --- one June and one later in the December which ties with an Oct birth for Leonard Kilby both are in Leicester

How do you know about his death? I am thinking this is the most reliable route to follow - an obituary perhaps, or info on the death cert.

Hi

I am trying to find the wife/partner of Leonard Kilby born Oct 1911 Leicester.
I have looked on Free bMD - there is only one marriage in Leicester to a a Joan M Boyce - I have got the marriage cert and this Leonard Boyce was born Apr 1911 and died 1936.
So the above marriage s not correct for MY Leonard Kilby

I believe that MY Len Kilby had a son ( possibly David ) born c1935-1940
either in Leicester or Bradford.

Len died 1993 in Bradford.

He was my uncle & I am trying to find more info on his wife & children.......

Could someone please take a look to see if they can find a childs birth in these areas / dates.........it may show the mothers maiden name.
