Find Living Relatives

Can anyone help me trace a William Wraight born in Footscray 1845 died 1910.
I can find him in 1871 living in Dover but i cann`t trace him after that and i cann`t find a birth record for him.He married a Ada (Adea) in 1868.

Up until 1875 there was no penalty for not registering a birth so he may not have been registered at all in which case there won't be a birth certificate.

I know Footscray and Chislehurst are near each other but i`m really not sure this is him.

The family I gave earlier in the 1851 census was the only Wraight family in the Bromley registration district, so I would think there is a good chance that it is him.

Only by buying one of his marriage certificates will you be able to confirm his father's name.

Kath; yes i think your right ,if they are the only Wraigths dont see how it can not be them .

I thought it was him but because area of birth was differant i then thought i had got it wrong .Only been doing this a few weeks so still all new to me .

So will have to get hold of certificates for him .
