Thanks for your reply I beleive that a John Hampson born 1837 in Stockport married Margaret Lomas born 1821 in Mayo Ireland
They had 2 children born in Stockport and 3 born in liverpool. 1 was married
at St Anthony's Liverpool. and 4 at. St Josephs Liverpool.
I am trying to track down Parish Registers for these churches.
My wife is a Hampson and is related by her great grandad.

Have you looked in free bmd for likely children for Arnold and Kathleen?

Just for reference, as is not Liverpool:
Marriages Jun 1933
Hampson Arnold M Mercer Manchester S. 8d 483
Mercer Kathleen M Hampson Manchester S. 8d 483
There is another Hampson/Mercer marriage in the area (Chorlton) also.

There are about 30 John Hampsons born in Lancashire from 1891 to 1893. To try and track marriage and death, unless he stayed in exactly the same area, is going to be very difficult.

Lookimg for relatives of Arnold Micheal Hampson born1908 lived at Halford St Liverpool in 1911 and married Kathleen Mercer born1898.
Also John Hampson born1892 lived at Brookhill Rd Bootle
Also Eliza b1896 Margaret b1897 lived at Comus St Liverpool in 1911
