As this is 'Find Living Relatives' board, it would be best once you have copied the census info, to delete this thread and start again on 'Find Ancestors'..........unless of course you want help to find other descendants, possible still living?

Check www.freebmd.org.uk for his marriage, and for the births of his children. If you can't find a likely marriage (you need to click on the page number in the results to find the other people sharing the same reference) then you could purchase one of the children's BCs - that would give their mother's maiden name.

As you probably know, certs should only be purchased either direct from the local registry office, or from www.gro.gov.uk @ £9.25.

Don't forget to search trees for the names of these people to see if anyone else has them listed.

Hannah was probably a widow, so Josiah David Whitehouse marriage ought to be to a Hannah Patchett - then you'd need to find a marriage of a Hannah to a Patchett to get their missing names - or take a short cut and buy a Patchett child BC!!
