Hiya, I have registered with Birthlink, in Scotland, yes, and he hasnt registered his details with them. Also gone down a few other routes with no success.
I also dont know what his adopted name is, and am unable to find out, due to not being close enough kin to access his adoption records.

Have you checked on here in 'search trees'?

Does Scotland have an adoption contact register in the way that England /Wales has?

If so, try adding your details to it, in the hope that he may have done so as well, or does so in the future.

Hiya, I am looking for my half brother who was adopted at birth. His name at birth was John Stanley Duffield, and he was born in Glasgow, Scotland 20th January 1967. I have searched some adoption sites with no luck, if anyone can help at all that would be great.
many thanks
