Find Living Relatives

My sister and I are trying to find my missing sister. Her name is Rosemary Diana Blaikie, Date of birth: 20/09/1944. In London. She was born during the war and her father was Canadian. I have found her birth details with my father (Blaikie) name on but then it all goes a bit blank. I don't know if she went to Canada with her father as my mother had to give her away as a baby. All we keep coming up with is a Rosemary Diana Blaikie now Rosemary Diana Richardson who died on 5th may 2006 in Brighton. But looking at the birth details they say she was born in Canada and not London. So am not sure this is the right person. If anyone can help taking Rosemary life down it would be greatly appreciated.

If she was 'given away' as a baby, it is unlikely that she retained the forenames your mother gave her.

Have you looked for her name in 'search trees'?

Do the birth dates match for the 2 Rosemary's? If known to the informant it will be on the death cert.

If you have the 2006 death cert, please tell us exactly what it says about the deceased person

Looks like her last address was a care/nursing home............you could contact them to see if they have an next of kin or contact the funeral home.

Richardson being the family who fostered/adopted her.

I would think they took her name as being Rose Marie rather than Rosemary? also strange they arrived a week apart on the same ship? The page is stamped 19th june so it must be an error

Looks sadly that the poster did find the correct person.
