Trying to find father - EDWIN HALL aka EDDIE

I have not had contact with my father since i was around 6months old. He and my mother had a disagreement and since then i understand that he made no contact to get back in touch. However my mother(who i no longer have contact with) would not have told me if he had been touch etc...

I am now 23 and for all these years i havent known my father nor have i ever called anyone "Dad"

I understand that he married around 1989 maybe later (i was born 1988) he was from the walsall area and i know he had a brother called "Kev"

The information i have is very scarce but i just dont know where to start looking.

I know he may not want to be involved with me,but for my own sanity i need to try to make contact with him so i know i have done all that i can. I would to know that he is at least well and happy.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you looked for his name in 'search trees?

Or on Friendsreunuted?

Is he named on your birth cert?

If so, does he have any other forenames?

You may have info by now but if not the Salvation Army have a missing persons section and found my Dad even though he had changed his surname.

Hello ALL!

i just wanted to thank everyone so much for their kind words and help! I have managed to find my father after 23years. i have written to him and sent the letter friday passed he emailed me last night to say that he wants to meet me! i am thrilled and so happy! this wouldnt have been possible without the help of the amazing people on this site and indeed this site for allowing me the opportunity to be a bit nosey and find him!
