Hi,
Looking for info on my uncle ''George Doherty''
He was born in Caernarfon North Wales in 1950, His parents were Charles Doherty and Valerie (nee Black)
Nobody has any idea where he went after leaving his home town, there was a sighting of him in the Liverpool area many years ago, rumour has it that he may have had a son?? We dont even know if he is alive
Sound familiar to anyone??

Unless he married at the age of 18.....no marriage in England/Wales up to 2005

No record of a death in England/Wales up to 2005

Thanks very much for your reply, Im greatful for any help and advice, I have tried ''search trees'' but had no luck, I might give friends reunited a go, George had a middle name of Leonard (I think)

Hi Patchem,
Thanks for your interest, he left Caernarfon sometime in his early to mid 20's and joined the marines, His career in the marines was short lived after he got kicked out (rumour has it) I dont no how long he spent with them, He came back to Caernarfon for a couple of nights during 1979/80 but said nothing as to where he'd been or was going, my dad thought he may have had a slight Liverpool accent developing.

Thanks for that patchem, just took a look, that would be my other uncle, although I had no idea he was also searching for him, he seems to know a little more detail about his marine days than I do, other than that he's as lost as I am
