Best to buy the cert to confirm if you are unsure. It will tell you whether he was adopted or not.

My partner has just found out she has a half brother could have been born in Evenwood Co Durham mothers name was nee Doris Naisbitt married name Evans.We found his birth certificate as Jeffrey Evans 1954 South West Durham.Hope someone can help her.
