All I know about him is his name and he lived in the goole area about 23/24 years ago.

Any information would be helpful.

You must know something else about him I think you will find the are many Roy Smiths born in the UK where have you tried looking for him?

He's my dad i know that much.

he must be in his early to mid 40's now, possibly older.

Do you know anything about his parents or siblings? There are too many Roy Smith's born between 1960 and 1970 in Yorkshire alone to narrow him down

I know his family came from a travellers/gypsy background. Not too sure if he travelled around or not. I've managed to find another post on here seeking information on a Roy Smith from Goole too. Sent them a message but haven't heard anything back yet. Wondering if we're looking for the same man.

No just came across the one. It won't be the same person then.
Going to get some more information from my mum next time I see her. Hopefully will narrow down my search a little bit. I honestly didn't realise there were so many Roy smith's around.

If you check the birth records on this site there are 348 Roy Smith's born between 1960-70 and 31 in Yorkshire
