james t pickup was born in rochdale,married in blackburn,had daughter margaret before being wed,she was not sent for adoption margaret has also a sister ,rita who was born in 1957.

Your problem is there are four of them, all with the same middle initial, all born Blackburn in the space of 16 years. There are only four possible marriages for the one you refer to ~ but none of them in Blackburn, and the nearest being about 10-15 miles away. I note she was born (it appears) before the parent married so was she sent for adoption?...did her name get changed??
